The director of Balika Vadhu, Ram Vrishka Kaur is now helping his father selling vegetables.
Pandemic has caused great financial distress which has affected our mental health. Many people have been unable to visit their hometown and now that the unlock phase has begun, things are expected to get better.
Coronavirus has also brought the television and film industry to halt and many people are suffering and have not been able to earn enough. The director ‘Balika Vadhu’ met a similar fate when he planned to work on a Hindi-Bhojpuri film but things took turn and lockdown was announced.

Ram Vrishka Gaur stayed behind with his father in his hometown, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and helped his father with selling vegetables. He said in his statement that the shooting may not resume for another year so he stayed behind and helped his father, without any regrets.
“I have my own house in Mumbai and I am confident that I will return one day. Till then, I am here doing what I can,” said Ram Vrishka Gaur.
he has worked with many actors and started working in the light department, gradually moved from production department to assistant director and then finally to director and unit director of the show ‘Balika Vadhu’.
