Turning any book into a movie is a big task. Movies are often adapted from novels and sometimes the novel presented on the big screen is able to catch audience in a way that the book couldn’t. Movies don’t really capture the minute and tiny details of the book but it surely makes the book more alive especially for non-book readers. Here are some of the movies that are based on a certain book and have somehow turned out better when adapted on big screen.

• Fight Club

  

Based on the novel Fight Club by Chuck Palamiuk, was a super hit book and was soon adapted into a movie. It was indeed a great adaptation. Even Chuck also appreciated the movie more than his own book. The enhanced romantic qualities and streamlining of the plot makes it better than the book.

• Stardust

  

Stardust was a wonderful masterpiece by Neil Galman. The difference lies between the plot ending of the book and the movie. The film has an edge when it comes to action, adventure, character, and climax. The storyline is quick-paced which makes it even more enjoyable.

• Jurassic Park

  

The novel Jurassic Park was written by Micheal Crichton and was soon adapted into a movie three years later. The characters in the movie are more developed and the special effects in the movie have certainly amped it up than the book.

• The Notebook

  

This romantic melodrama by Nicholas Sparks when adapted as a movie was able to cater more audience and hence become one of the best romantic films of all time. The on-screen heart-breaking tale surely will shed a few tears from your eyes.

• Fifty Shades of Grey

  

The movie was based on the novel of the same name by E.L. James. The movie is much more competent. It is a sexy version than the book. The movie is indeed an award-worthy film. This bold movie is surely worth watching.
