Last year India’s first 3D dance movie, ABCD – Any Body Can Dance, with dance maestros Remo D’Souza and Prabhu Dheva released. Among much buzz the movie was a hit for its myriad dance performances, the plans for a sequel were also revealed.
The film is said to be inspired by the true story of an Indian dance troupe that participated in the world Hip Hop Dance Championships. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in their first ever pairing together will play the lead roles. The film is directed by Remo and Prabhu Dheva.
The film will be shot in Las Vegas, USA, and will have over 10 song-and-dance sequences.
ABCD 2 is about great dancing, awesome music and the 3D format, it is also an incredibly emotional and dramatic story,
ABCD 2 goes on floors in July 2014.
