Gurgoan is about to get its first “clean” street food court:
Street food markets are often open, crowded and unhygienic, but soon this issue will be solved for NCR peeps as Gurgaon will soon get open-air clean street-food market. So, you don’t have to worry about getting your stomach upset after having a meal outside.
This month, Gurgoan will become the first location in Haryana to have a clean street food market. Gurgaon’s local administration, in association with the Food Safety and Standards of India(FSSAI), is ready to open a hygienic, well-functioning street food market in Sector 38.
Around 100 vendors will be asked to wear gloves while serving food with name tags. The Sector 38 market is likely to turn into a world-class ‘open-air’ food court. These types of food courts are seen in Asian countries like Singapore and Thailand and now you will have one in your city.
Activities lie cleanliness, hospitality, and food offered by vendors will be tracked by the FSSAI. So don’t worry you won’t be getting stomach infection after eating a meal from here.
Till now, the committee has decided upon two spots in Gurugram, one near Medanta and the other in Sushant Lok, but as of now, they are only going ahead with the market in Sector 38.
So, get set to enjoy delicious and clean street food in Gurgaon in another two months now. We think this is a great idea, and more such street food courts must be planned.
