Julianne Moore will be seen playing the role of enigmatic President Alma Coin in the soon to be released movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. The talented actress likes the process of changing physically for a character and it’s one of her favourite parts in every movie she does.
Julianne plays District 13’s steely leader, where the atmosphere is very austere, steeped in shades of gray and is the stark reality of what’s happening in the Districts. Julianne’s character sports grey hair and drab attire in the movie. Inspite of having severe & dull outfits, Julianne enjoyed sporting this look in the third installment of this dystopian franchise.
Talking about transforming her look as President Coin, Julianne Moore says, “It’s my favorite part in every movie. I mean I’m definitely a hair actor. I’m always like, well what is my hair gonna be like? What colour is it? Should I cut it? Or should I dye it? Or am I gonna wear a wig? It’s my favorite favorite thing. So to have a character that’s described certainly in a physical way was a great help to me. The wig, and the eyes… the light colored grey eyes was fun to do.”
