Here is how India looked on 5th April at 9 PM after complying with PM Modi’s request.
People from all across India came in their balconies and turned off their lights for 9 minutes and lit a diya in their homes on 5th April at 9 PM to show solidarity against the deadly coronavirus which has bought the entire world to halt.
This joint effort was to instill hope in people and appreciate the ones who have made it possible for us to stay safe at home amidst the outbreak. India was seen looking as beautiful as ever in the warm glow of diyas and candles that were lit up.
Here are the pictures of people and how they participated in this nationwide exercise.
