Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: A Flood of Memes Takes Over the Internet:
As vote counting commenced on June 4 for 542 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP-led NDA was leading in approximately 285 seats by noon, while the INDIA bloc was ahead in over 237 seats. These results diverge from most exit polls, which had predicted a decisive victory for the saffron party-led National Democratic Alliance.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the BJP’s “Abki Baar 400 Paar” campaign, aiming for the 400-mark. However, the situation looks quite different for the ruling party as the INDIA bloc has proven most post-poll analyses wrong. The biggest shock for the BJP came from Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal
