The ‘Queen’ of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut boldly told the world that she does not need Khans or some male superstar to deliver a hit film and even proved her lines with Queen, Tanu weds Manu series, Gangster etc. Reports are buzzing in tinsel town that there is tension in the sets of ‘Rangoon’, a Vishal Bhardwaj’s period film, depicting the time of World War II. Shahid Kapoor who changed 5 looks for the film and Saif Ali Khan are not comfortable as according to sources, to them ‘Rangoon’ is Kangana centered film. They are not happy as Kangana is highlighting as hero of the film.
While critics says that it will be a pure Vishal Bhardwaj movie as he is a self-made, highly experienced director who has worked with a lot of big names of industry. He is a man of multiple talents who knocked the doors of Bollywood to become music composer but eventually became director.
On the same sets Shahid and Saif are assumed to be uncomfortable due to Shahid’s past connection with Kareena, but Saif believes in not mixing the work and personal fronts. So he is helping Shahid in improvisation and taking cues during scenes.
Saif is playing the role of a filmmaker, Shahid shall be seen as soldier and Kangana playing the role of an actress of 1940s Julia. The film is slated to be released on September 30, 2016.
