Kim Kardashian’s got engaged on her 33rd birthday as her rapper beau Kanye West popped the question at the AT&T Park in San Francisco. He also arranged a 50-piece orchestra, called over family, and friends and he gave a whopping 15-carat diamond engagement ring.
The engagement ring from Kanye West might be a huge 15 carats, but it pales in comparison Kim’s engagement ring from her ex-husband Kris Humphries which was reportedly 20 carats.
Kardashian eagerly posted a picture of her ring on her Instagram with a simple caption that said ‘YES!!!’ and in the background it showcased West ‘PLEEESE MARRY MEEE!!!’ on a scoreboard.
The couple have been good friends since 2007, began dating in August 2012 and have a daughter North West.
The ring was designed by Kardashian family jeweller Lorraine Schwartz and is a flawless D-stone. N fact Kanye wanted a particular style like the diamond is floating in air. Reports say jewellery expert estimate the ring to be above $3 million. Her huge ring from Humphries was worth about $2 million! Interestingly Lorraine had designed Kim’s previous engagement ring too! The ring was designed after a replica of a ring Kardashian liked since her childhood.
