Adipurush’s trailer released, Kriti Sanon sits on the floor at the launch, check out why:
The trailer of Adipurush was released on Tuesday, it begins with a voiceover introducing us to Raghav’s character (played by Prabhas). Three minutes of the trailer capture the essence of the Ramayana. It has glimpses of some of the most pivotal scenes of the Ramayana – the Sitaharan scene (featuring Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and Kriti Sanon as Janaki), Hanuman carrying Sanjeevani Buti, to the building of the Ram Setu scene, the trailer has it all.
Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is based on the timeless tale of the Ramayana and it stars Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman.

Kriti, who attended the trailer launch of the film, looked ravishing in a custom-made white and golden saree from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla creations. A video from the trailer launch is doing rounds on social media where Kriti is seen sitting on the floor after finding no seat in a theatre hall. The video’s caption also claimed that Kriti didn’t want to disturb those who were already seated. The video left netizens amused by Kriti’s gesture and they hailed the actor once again for her simplicity.

The film is slated to release in theatres in IMAX and 3D on June 16 this year. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages in theatres.
