If reports are to be believed Gunjan Utreja who plays Abhay Kapoor in Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon has walked out of the show. Rumour mills say Gunjan Utreja was unhappy with the makers calling back Vivian Dsena in Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.
Gunjan was the new male lead after Vivan, (who earlier played RK in the show) walked out as he did not want to be a part of the time leap. So the track focused on Abhay and Madhu’s (Drashti Dhami) love story. However, poor TRPs made the makers rush back to Vivan and with Vivian’s re-entry, Gunjan’s character has now been turned negative, which he obviously is not happy with.
Reportedly this started creating creative differences between the production house and Gunjan, who had no choice but to walk out, “I have informed the production house about my decision. I am going abroad on May 3 for 15 days, so May 2 will be my last day of shoot. My character is not shaping up the way it was promised. The creative differences can’t be resolved and so, there is no chance of me returning to the show,” he was quoted by a daily.
With Gunjan’s exit it won’t be a surprise if Madhubala goes off-air. After all, we have been hearing these rumours from quite some time now.
