Memes flood Twitter as a case was filed whether Ludo is a game of chance or skill:
A game of Ludo is all about unending chatting, tantrums, and fun when played with friends and family. The online version of the game has been a great source of entertainment for a lot of people during the lockdown. While playing a ludo often we all discuss if the winning player is using a strategy to win or it’s just luck. Now this debate has reached the courtroom.
As per reports, a petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court against the makers of Ludo Supreme, saying that the online game promotes gambling and deviates from the original board game, which is a “game of chance”.
The petition is filed by Keshav Muley, and it seeks a declaration that ludo is a “game of chance and not a game of skill”. Provisions of the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887 would apply “if the game is played for stake”, it says.
The petition has inspired hilarious reactions online and Twitter is loaded with memes.
