A man stabs his wife to death as she had a crush on Hrithik Roshan:
Too much of every emotion is harmful and especially when it is jealousy. It is a destructive emotion and has the power to destroy a happy relationship and break down trust as well. And a recent case is proof of this.
In a shocking incident, an abusive Indian man stabbed his wife to death in New York City because she had a crush on Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. He then hanged himself because he was jealous of his wife crushing over the Bollywood actor.
According to a news report, Dineshwar Budhidat of Queens disastrously stabbed his wife Donne Dojoy, 27, who worked as a bartender and then hanged himself from a tree on Friday.
His friends told that Budhidat was “extremely jealous” because his wife was a huge fan of Hrithik.
“She told me when she was at home watching a movie or listening to a song (with Hrithik in it), he would ask her to take it off because he would get so jealous,” Mala Ramdhani, 52, one of his friends said. Any movie Hrithik acted in, she wanted to see it, Ramdhani said.
Dojoy had told her friends that he was controlling and was even violent with her at times. She talked about him abusing her, controlling her, beating her, scaring her, threatening to kill her,” another friend, Rodney added. “She never took it seriously because she loved him.”
The report also stated that Dojoy had moved out of the apartment where she lived in with her husband but had plans to stop by the place to watch a movie and be with him. But later in the evening, Budhidat texted his wife’s sister, that he had killed her, and instructing that the key to the apartment could be found under a flower pot, police sources said on Friday.
Another of Dojoy’s friends said that despite the jealousy and the abuse, ‘he was obsessed with her, because of the type of job she did, and she had a good body.’
After the brutal murder, the woman’s friends claimed that he had raged over Dojoy’s infatuation with Indian actor Hrithik Roshan in the past.
Silvin Dojoy,Dojo’s aunt said that her niece was a lovely young lady. A beautiful girl. She was intelligent, and she worked hard. About the husband, she said, “He was a coward. Who acts like that? Lift your hands against a woman? That’s a cowardly act. There is no reason for him to have done what he did. It’s unbelievable. He had no right to do what he did.”
