WhatsApp 2021 privacy policy deadline is here, people share their thoughts through memes:
Now after weeks of criticism and controversy, WhatsApp’s 2021 privacy policy update deadline is finally here. From now, the app’s users will have to accept the new privacy policy if they want to continue using some features. WhatsApp recently clarified that it will not delete people’s accounts if they don’t accept the new privacy policy.
But they also made it cleared that it will limit some features on the app. A user may not be able to access their WhatsApp chat list, but the app will allow them to answer or make incoming voice and video calls.
As the deadline came, people were sharing their feelings by making memes and jokes on the same.
With Facebook Inc sending “persistent reminders” to users, people took to social media to express their anger. Others said that they will not be accepting the new policy and more to a different platform, sharing memes.
