On Monday, NASA shared that traces of water have been found on the surface of the moon which was sunlit. Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) which is the US space agency also shared that chances are it may be distributed throughout the different places and areas of the moon.
Water was found in Clavius Crater which is the largest crater on the moon. The news sparked many reactions online and people even made memes and jokes. Check out the reaction of netizens below:
