The city of Mumbai has been receiving heavy rainfall and cyclonic winds for the last two days. As per the news, South Mumbai’s Colaba area recorded 331.8 mm rainfall in 24 hours with wind speeds of up to 107 kmph. A red alert has been issued for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region as homes and shops are getting waterlogged, roads are flooded and rail transport has been disrupted.
