ICC’s painting to honor Indian skipper did not go well with the fans:
The World cup fever is in full mode among all the cricket fans and this excitement can be seen on social media too. Along with the common people, even the International Cricket Council (ICC) did not stay back in showing their respect towards the team.
Recently ICC tweeted a painting of the Indian captain Virat Kohli just before India’s match against South Africa at Southampton. Though they did efforts it did not go well with the Netizens as they found the picture more resembling to top-order batsman KL Rahul.
“He looks more like Rahul n less like Kohli,” read one of the many comments on the viral picture. Moreover, many also were disappointed that an international organisation, which was overseeing the game, was showing admiration for the captain of a certain team.
The painting was showing Virat Kohli sitting on a throne like a king wearing a crown and holding a cricket bat in one hand and a ball in another. This tweet immediately went viral and resulted in floods of comments.
