PM Modi receives Covaxin shot at AIIMS.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS on Monday and shared this update via tweet.
“Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS,” he said in his tweet and admired the efforts of doctors and scientist as they came up with the vaccine which will help control the spread of coronavirus. Here is the tweet:

He asked people who are eligible for the Covaxin shot to come forward and get it to fight off this disease. He was administered Covxin which is developed by Bharat Biotech and ICMR. Two nurses from Kerala and Puducherry respectively, Rosamma Anil and P Niveda were the ones who administered the dose to PM Modi.
He did not arrive at the hospital through any special route and chose to take the shot early.
