Priyanka Chopra’s while shooting for Mary Kom gained some 7 odd kilos of sheer muscle due to intense training. Now when her next project started Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do she had to lose those kilos to get back to her petite look.
The actress had to lose seven kilos of muscle built while training for the biopic. The actress trained with boxer Jharna Sanghvi over the year to get the brawny physique of the Olympic medal winner Mary Kom. But Zoya wanted Priyanka to look svelte as she plays a suave businesswoman from a Punjabi family in her film,.
Priyanka had only 20 days to lose the extra weight and worked hard to achieve the goal.
It is said PC went through intense weight training and activities like skipping, running and a controlled diet to shed the kilos quickly.
Priyanka is currently shooting for Dil Dhadakne Do with Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar.
