Rakhi Sawant has confirmed her marriage with NRI after her honeymoon pictures went viral:
Rakhi Sawant finally admitted that she has married an NRI businessman after teasing people for days. Earlier when her bridal pictures went viral they sparked marriage rumors, rubbishing those she said that the pictures were from a bridal photo-shoot. But now, Rakhi has finally confirmed that she got married recently in a private ceremony and her husband is an NRI.
She said: Main dar gayi thi, haan maine shaadi kar li hai. I am confirming the news with you today. (I was scared but yes, I got married. I am confirming the news with you.).”
Sharing details about her husband Rakhi Said, “His name is Ritesh and he is in the UK. He has already left. My visa is underway and I will join him. Of course, I shall continue to work whatever I get in India, so will shuttle for that. I always wanted to produce TV shows and I think my long-standing dream will now be fulfilled. I thank Jesus for giving me such a wonderful husband.”
“He was my fan ever since he first saw my first interview with Prabhu Chawla. He WhatsApp me. Messaging and then talking to him, we became friends with the passage of time. This happened about a year-and-half back,” she added.
Rakhi also told: After knowing him, I prayed very hard to Jesus that I must become his wife. Woh khawish toh poori ho gayi (That dream is now fulfilled). God has been kind to me so far.”

Earlier in 2009, Rakhi got engaged to Toronto-based businessman Elesh Parujanwala on national television. However, she called it off after a few months, saying that she got engaged to him for money and claimed that he was financially not well off.
Rakhi Sawant concluded by saying she plans to have babies by 2020 and wants to have triplets like Farah Khan. She added, “Working women don’t have too much time. My body clock is ticking as I am 33.”
When Rakhi was asked if this wedding announcement was one of her stunts, she said, “This time it is different. Deepak Kalal is like my brother. We pulled a prank and I didn’t know that prank would one day get me married off to Ritesh. Back then when Deepak and I played that prank, Ritesh had not proposed to me. But then he got a little insecure and asked me to marry him.”
