Actor Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for COVID-19 and his mother Neetu Kapoor confirmed the news. She also assured people that the actor is recovering well and has been taking all the necessary precautions while self-quarantining at home. Here is the post from Neetu Kapoor’s Instagram account:

Soon after the news came out, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also tested positive for the virus. The director and the actor were on different sets when they tested positive.
Ranbir Kapoor was shooting for Brahmastra while SLB was on the sets of Gangubai Kathiwadi.
Alia Bhatt also got tested for the virus and her results came out negative. During the shoots, the actress had been taking the test before entering the set and has since isolated herself as a precautionary measure.
Many actors and actresses tested positive for COVID-19 last year as the shooting has resumed for many segments.

Neetu Kapoor also tested positive last year and recovered well and the news of Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai testing positive followed soon after.
Everyone on the set is being tested after the actors tested positive and all the necessary precautions are being taken to ensure that everyone stays safe and healthy.
