Many celebrities are being trolled for their appearance and bodies on the internet and now people have started to take up age shaming. Women are expected to meet every society’s standards and hence celebrities such as Sameera Reddy did not feel like sharing their post-pregnancy pictures on social media because of trolls.
Actress Rashmi Desai took a step and called out her trolls after she saw people commenting on her age, sitting behind the screens. She even tagged Mumbai Police Instagram handle, PM’s account, and cyber helpline to highlight the issue.
She went ahead and asked the people if they have the same thoughts for mother, sisters, and daughter. The actress also asked these people if this is what they think of the women in their lives.
After confronting the trolls, Rashmi posted pictures with inspiring caption and made it clear that such comments are not going to stop her from succeeding.
