While gossip columns have have been predicting the Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra marriage from the past few years. Their surprise and secret wedding in Italy has raised a lot of questions, the first one being why would the A list get married in far-away Italy? Rumour mills have gone into overdrive to find out the whys and hows.
Many news suggest that it was already planned while some say it was rushed. Well, according to a leading daily, Rani’s father’s ill health made the couple hurry to exchange vows at such a short notice. Reports also say that, three weeks ago Rani’s father collapsed and was hospitalised, Aditya promised him that he would marry Rani right-away.
Apparently on April 18 the venue was decided and on April 19 the Chopras and the Mukerjis flew to the venue, along with Karan Johar.
