The teaser of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was dropped recently for fans and people are going crazy over it. Starring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra, the film is the story of the Randhawas and the Chatterjees, and going by the teaser, it can be best described as a more expensive version of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
The movie has a brilliant star cast, RARKPK was first announced in July 2021 with Karan Johar insisting, in his Instagram caption, that this wasn’t a regular love story. The final release date of the movie is July 28, 2023.

- The movie is based on a real-life love story that Karan’s father once told him about.
- Ibrahim Ali Khan was an assistant director on RARKPP. Many photos emerging from the set of the film had Ibrahim posing with the film’s stars.
- Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra will be seen romancing each other in the film. Dharmendra is shown as a part of the Randhawa family, and Shabana Azmi is shown as a part of the Chatterjee family.
- RARKPK was largely shot in Mumbai and Delhi. But, songs of the film were shot at a few other picturesque locations as well. Alia and Ranveer had shot for a song in Moscow, Russia, and in Kashmir as well.
- Apart from the big stars, the film has a strong ensemble cast which includes Aamir Bashir, Kshitee Jog, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Anjali Anand and Namit Das.
