The much publicized wedlock between Bollywood’s favourite lovebirds Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan has been termed anti-Islam by the leading Islamic seminary. Darul Uloom Deoband says Kareena did not convert to Islam before the marriage and such marriages are not approved by their religion.
In Islam a bride must to convert to the religion before tying the knot but Bebo didn’t change her religion. In Pataudi’s family, all the inter-religion marriage saw that the bride converting into Muslim for marriage including Saif’s ex-wife Amrita Singh. But Kareena’s mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore and Bebo’s beau Saif didn’t want Bebo to change her name or identity after marriage.
