Bollywood superstar Salman Khan known for his action-packed films is now facing real-life danger after receiving a serious threat. On Thursday, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a terrifying WhatsApp message demanding ₹5 crore from the actor. The message claimed that if Salman wants to end his feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and stay safe, he must pay up otherwise, the sender warned that things could get much worse for him.

The message conveys a direct threat: “Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay ₹5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique’s,” as reported by the Mumbai Police. After receiving this message, the police quickly increased security around Salman’s home in Mumbai’s Bandra to ensure his safety.

The police aren’t taking any chances and have beefed up security outside Salman Khan’s residence to ensure the actor and his family are safe. This latest threat isn’t an isolated incident, but part of a larger series of threats connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Earlier, the Navi Mumbai police had arrested a key member of this gang, Sukhbir Balbir Singh, who was reportedly involved in plotting against the actor.

Sukhbir Singh, also known as Sukha was arrested in Panipat, Haryana. According to the police, he was in touch with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and planned to bring dangerous firearms like AK-47s from Pakistan to attack Salman Khan. He was reportedly in touch with a handler named Dogar, who is based in Pakistan. Together, they planned to use weapons smuggled from Pakistan to carry out their attack.

Salman Khan has been dealing with threats from the Bishnoi gang for some time now. Back in April, a case was filed against 18 members of the gang who were allegedly plotting to harm the actor. Earlier this year, shots were fired outside his Bandra home, adding to the tension.

The gang members had been keeping a close watch on Salman’s movements—spying on his Bandra residence, Panvel farmhouse, and even his film shoots. Reports suggest that they were even trying to involve minors as sharpshooters in their plans.

This recent extortion demand is just the latest in a series of threats Salman Khan has faced. Earlier in January 2024, two people tried to sneak into his Panvel farmhouse using fake identities. In 2022, a threat letter addressed to Salman was found near his building. In March 2023, he received a threatening email from the Bishnoi gang.

The Mumbai Police have detailed all these incidents in a report filed in court, showing just how serious the situation is.
