The story which began exactly 20 years ago for Sanjay Dutt has come to its judgement day today. Sanjay was charged with possession of illegal arms in the 1993 Bombay blasts.
The actor today surrendered in TADA court, Mumbai and shortly he will be taken to the Arthur Road jail. From there, he will be moved to Pune’s Yerawada Jail. Sanjay Dutt will begin the 42 months jail term left of the five-year term he was given by SC.
Sanjay Dutt who has been in and out of jail over the last four years will now come out post this 42 month stay. Before going to jail Sanjay Dutt asked the court for extra time to finish his prior work commitments. Sanjay is married Manyata and has twins Iqra and Shahraan. He also has a daughter from his first marriage.
