Twitter reacts on Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju:
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju is making headlines on box office and even left aside Baahubali 2 for its first day earnings. Sanju earned 46.71 crore till its 3rd day of release while for Baahubali 2 it was 46.50 crores. The Ranbir Kapoor’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt is already in the 100 crore film club and is getting amazing reviews.
The film’s director Rajkumar Hirani said he was always clear that he would not sugar coat Sanjay Dutt in his own biopic. The film has tried to showcase the actor’s struggle with drugs though many are taking it as a PR campaign for the actor. Although many people went gaga over Ranbir’s acting in the film, many were also not satisfied and said that it didn’t justify Sanjay Dutt’s real life. On social media there were mixed reviews about the movie and netizens came forward saying it whitewashed the actor’s involvement in the 1993 Bombay blasts case. Here is how people are reacting:
@RajkumarHirani sir next try with Dawood. Use bhi hero Bana do aur Haan
Ek Baar 1993 ke blast ke logon ke saath baith ke yeh movie dekhna. Bas itna kar Lena story churane sale chor

According to Hirani’s #SANJU:
Responsible for:
His drug addiction – A friend
Him exploiting women – Women
Him picking up the gun – Death/rape threats by Hindus
Him being tried as a terrorist – MediaNOT responsible for any of these things:
Sanju himself— Aisi Taisi Democracy (@AisiTaisiDemo) July 1, 2018
People in arms act aren’t given Parole usually, but he got Parole for a month which was extended fro. December to March.
He did serve his time, but not as much as he should have.
And definitely not buying the naive guy who was scared nonsense peddled in the movie.

#Sanju is all about performances vicky kaushal and ranbir kapoor are phenomenal.
Otherway round it’s a fiction than a biopic. Totally whitewashes story of #SanjayDutt. #OnelifeManyLies— ABHISHEK MAHATO (@ABHI09_MAHATO) July 1, 2018
And also pay attention to the logic why he had an AK56- because he feared mob attack. Seriously??

Ranbir’s pitch-perfect act aside, #Sanju conveniently blames the media for most of Sanjay Dutt’s woes -even dedicating an entire song to it-while attempting to whitewash the fact that Dutt did indeed commit an illegal act & was convicted by the court.

1. In one scene a random guy shouts at Sunil Dutt in the movie
“Wo dekho Terrorist ka baap jaa raha hai”
This scene is juxtaposed wid another scene year later, where a guy shouts“Wo dekho Munnabhai ka baap jaa raha hai”
Somehow the movie derives redemption for Sanju via this

I wanted to watch it only for Vicky Kaushal…but won’t …it’s just a propaganda movie…
