Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja is one of the most awaited biopic of the year based on Neerja Bhanot’s heroic action during Pan America flight hijack at Karachi air base. Sonam and team have been on a promotional spree.
In this chain, Team Neerja is releasing the making videos, in one of the videos reel Neerja shared what real Neerja’s mother instantly said to her when she saw her for the very first time. In Sonam’s words,” The first thing Rama aunty said was: Ye to meri laado hai”. She said there is something in you which remind me about her.” Atul Kasabekar, producer of the film added, “But her mother said that my laado was prettier.”
That moment Sonam determined that she cannot let this lady down. The team said that re-living a character is not easy, but she surrendered herself to the required process and made this happen. Shanti Sivaram Mani said, “She is a complete team player, she completely gave her to the film”. Watch making video here:
