Shilpa and Raj Kundra welcome their baby girl Samisha:
Shilpa Shetty has surprised everyone after she recently welcomed her newborn baby girl . The actress took to Instagram to share the arrival of their baby girl Samisha Shetty Kundra. She was born on 15th February 2020 but the couple waited for the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.
Along with the announcement, Shilpa also shared the meaning of her newborn’s name which means ‘Goddess Laxmi’. She wrote, “Sa in Sanskrit is ‘to have’, and Misha in Russian stands for ‘someone like God’. You personify this name – our Goddess Laxmi and complete our family. Please bestow our angel with all your love and blessings. Ecstatic parents: Raj and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Overjoyed brother: Viaan-Raj Kundra.”
Along with the post she shared a picture of a little angel where a tiny hand of her can be seen holding a finger of her mommy. Shilpa captioned it:, ‘Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah. Our prayers have been answered with a miracle… With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house.’
The couple kept the arrival of their daughter a secret. It is still to be confirmed whether Samisha is born out of surrogacy or not.
