Bollywood stars are concerned over ill-treatment of dogs:
Many Bollywood stars are pet lovers and Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor are animal lovers and activist as well. Both of them has also urged people to adopt stray animals and to treat them with love and kindness. Recently Sonam took to Instagram to highlight an incident about a stray dog that took place in Worli, Mumbai.
The actress narrated the whole incident as it was recorded in a CCTV camera. A watchman ill-treated a stray dog who was sitting under the building due to heavy rains. The watchman was instructed to beat the dog in such a manner that ensures no animals can enter the building.

Later Bollywood actor and animal lover Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram account to slam the barbaric act.
She wrote, “The inhumanity of this act is just unbelievable. This is the time for our community to step up and find a way to help get justice to a soul that can’t stand up for himself. If there is any way one can reach out to help, this is the time.”
In this matter, an FIR has been registered with the Worli police station by Bombay Animal Rights. Sonam also updated her fans about the current condition of the dog and asked people to help the dog.
Few other people from the film industry have expressed shock and grief at the act.
