The court finally granted bail to Aditya Pancholi’s son Soraj Pancholi who was arrested on charges of abetting Jiah Khan’s suicide
Suraj has been granted bail on a surety of Rs 50,000. He had also been asked to surrender his passport and appear before the Juhu police every alternate day.
The aspiring actor was arrested on June 10 after Khan’s mother Rabiyah went public with a letter apparently written by the 25-year-old actress. In the letter, Jiah mentioned how she was mentally harassed by Suraj and how she had undergone an abortion.
Earlier his bail application was rejected by the session court but later Pancholi moved to high court on June 26. He was in jail for 21 days.
