The Central Bureau of Investigation is currently probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. As per a recent report, three officers who are a part of the probe, have stated that their team has so far not found any evidence that suggests Sushant was murdered. The report further stated that the agency is now looking into the suicide angle of the case.
Now, CBI has released the first statement on Sushant’s case: “The CBI is conducting an investigation related to the death of Sh. Sushant Singh Rajput in a systematic and professional way. Certain media reports attributed to CBI investigation are speculative and not based on facts. It is reiterated that as a matter of Policy, CBI does not share details of the ongoing investigation. CBI spokesperson or any team member has not shared any details of the investigation with the media. The details being reported and attributed to CBI are not credible. It is requested that the media may please confirm details from CBI Spokesperson before quoting CBI.”

Meanwhile, the CBI has interrogated Rhea Chakraborty who is the prime accused in the case along with her father and brother, SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi, flatmate Siddharth Pithani and staff members.
Reportedly, a CBI team is currently in Mumbai and the probe is underway, now looking at the angle of the abetment to suicide.

Recently, Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty were brought to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai. Narcotics Control Bureau has served a summons to Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda to join the investigation, after conducting a search at their Mumbai residences.
Whereas the whole nation is blaming Rhea for the death of SSR, there are some celebrities who are supporting the actress including Vidya Balan, Shibani Dandekar, Minisha Lamba, Lakshmi Manchu, and others. Rhea Chakraborty and Shibani Dandekar have been friends for a long time now, Shibani strongly came out in support of Rhea.
Vidya Balan posted: “God bless you @LakshmiManchu for saying this out loud. It is so unfortunate that the tragic and untimely death of a beloved young star Sushant Singh Rajput has become a media circus. In the same breath, as a woman, my heart breaks at the vilification of Rhea Chakraborty. Isn’t it supposed to be ‘Innocent Until Proven Guilty’, or is it now ‘Guilty Until Proven Innocent’!? Let’s show some respect for the constitutional rights of a citizen and let the law take its course.”
Apart from all this, Kangana Ranaut was also dragged into this case as she said she can take names of actors who take drugs. This further led to another thing, people accused her of diverting SSR’s death towards Bollywood politics and misleading investigation.
