Manisha Valmiki from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh was gang-raped and murdered by four men.
A 19-year-old girl from Hathras was gang-raped and murdered brutally and later succumbed to her injuries. Manisha Valmiki, along with her family, was working in a field when she was dragged out and tortured by four men.
Her brother gave a statement to the news channel and shared that their family went looking for her and found her unconscious. The girl was brutally injured and was admitted to AIIMS Delhi where she died. Her attackers were arrested.
The news spread and UP minister, Siddharth Nath Singh commented. Here is what he had to say:

There is a need for establishing stricter laws for rape cases as women in our country continue to suffer due to this brutality. The number of rape cases has continuously increased in India and there has been no improvement so far.
