Television actors share their Rakha Bandhan celebration plans and memories.
Krystle Dsouza as Sakshi on Ekk Nayi Pehchaan
I have always celebrated Rakshabandhan but from the past few years my brother has shifted to Canada, hence it becomes difficult to tie a rakhi to him. But yet, I do tie him a rakhi on Face Time (Video Chat) and demand for my gifts . I save all the rakhi’s and tie to him once he is back for his vacation in Mumbai and he surprises me with lovely gifts. By far the most memorable gift for me was the one when he kidnapped me and took me for dinner to my favourite restaurant.
Faisal Khan as Kunwar Pratap on Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap
I celebrate Rakshabandhan every year and I am very excited for this festival. I still remember the Rakshabandhan which was just after I returned from a dance reality show, all the girls had gathered around me and tied rakhis on my hand. Both my hands were filled with beautiful rakhi’s and I felt very loved.
Aishwariya Sakhuja as Samaira on Main Naa Bhoolungi.
Since I am shooting every year I am very occupied with work, but still I make it a point to celebrate this festival. The most memorable Rakshabandhan celebration for me was when my brother gave me a surprise by flying down to Mumbai from Dubai. What makes me happier is that every year on Rakshabandhan he amazes me with beautiful gifts which I go gaga about all the time.
