Kabir Singh evokes various reactions of Twitter, people say it is toxic and uncool:
Touted to be Shahid’s highest single opening film, Kabir Singh is not going well with the reviews. While the film has been called out by critics for its “misogyny”, the masses still seem to watch it as the box office collections reflect.
The social media also reflect such sentiments, while many people are praising Shahid’s performance, others have called the film deeply disturbing.
Praising Shahid’s work in the film a user, said: “Just watched #KabirSingh in Dubai, it’s my first time ever to watch an Indian movie in a theatre, l just wanna say that it’s a well-made movie and I’m a Shahid Kapoor fan from now on. The guy is just insanely talented !”

While some users are shocked by the manner in which the film displays the male-female equation in 2019. Some felt that ‘toxic domination was not cool’.

Everyone has their own reaction to the film.
Check out what people have to say:
Just shut up feminist, just because i enjoyed it, i wont just start acting like kabir singh. Just like i wont become a world class criminal after watching srk’s don. A movie is at the end just a movie. #KabirSinghReview

It’s not the goodbye that hurts, but the flashbacks that follows.#KabirSingh #KabirSinghReview

#Kabirsingh The kind of movie that shouldn’t have been made in the first place, let alone remade. How could a movie be allowed to not just normalise but celebrate misogyny and sexism to this extent? Appalling. Easily one of the worst movies I have ever watched. #KabirSinghReview
