From few years the fight of women rights is going on at full pace and some of these struggles have also resulted in amazing outcomes. Though not yet everything has been sorted but the recent news about women being eligible to join Indian Army has brought a smile on everyone’s face.
Earlier people had misconceptions women has less strength and power as compared to males, they would only be allowed to be posted in areas such as medical, legal, educational, signals and engineering wings of the Army. However now, total military cops will comprise of 20% of the women, they will be selected on the basis of grades.
The Indian Army has started an online registration process for this selection and has also posted an ad in the newspaper about this new improvisation. Everyone is celebrating this news and is happy that such a wonderful step has been taken for women and they are in more power now.
