People shared pictures of swans, dolphins, and fishes that were seen in canals of Venice amidst lockdown.
Italy has been under complete lockdown ever since the number of cases crossed 31,000. Though all the tourist hotspots went under lockdown something positive followed.

The water canals flowing through the city of Venice were seen as a clear water body after a long time. The fishes and swans were seen going about their business. People took it to the internet and shared pictures of this new sight of canals on social media.
The residents also noticed that dolphins could be seen in the water as the ferries and boats are not being used currently. Here are the pictures shared by people.

The mayor’s office said, “The water now looks clearer because there is less traffic on the canals, allowing the sediment to stay at the bottom.”
The lockdown situation Italy has also significantly reduced the emission of greenhouse gases and pollution as well.
