Whatsapp, Instagram, and FB restored after a long outage

Check out people’s reaction to Social media platform’s outage earlier on Wednesday:

Yesterday hours after users reported a technical issue that hampered the download of images and other media files on Facebook and its other products, Instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp said that the problem has been solved. The services are now back to normal.

A statement shared by Facebook on Twitter reads, “Earlier today, some people and businesses experienced trouble uploading or sending images, videos and other files on our apps and platforms. The issue has since been resolved and should be back at 100% for everyone. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.”

Facebook’s global Twitter handle wrote that they are aware of the issue and is working to fix it. Their statement read: “We’re aware that some people are having trouble uploading or sending images, videos or other files on our apps. We’re sorry for the trouble and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.”

WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook’s services experienced technical glitches earlier on Wednesday. The outage appears to be global, with media reports and tweets revealing that the issue occurred across Europe, USA and Africa as well.

People were not able to download images or share any kind of media on these platforms. Though chat worked fine. Thankfully the issue has been resolved now.
