The veteran actor Om Puri’s second wife Nandita has lodged an domestic violence against him at the Versova police station. In her complain Nandita said that her husband hit her with a rod after an argument over maintenance of their flat in Seven Bungalows in Andheri.
The actor has reportedly gone missing after the incident. The Mumbai Police have booked the actor under IPC sections 324 (causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation). The police is trying to trace him.
Earlier too Nandita had filed a case against Puri in family court demanding maintenance. She even wrote a biography of Om Puri titled Unlikely Hero: The Story Of Om Puri wherein she revealed details like Om Puri’s affair with his maid.
