Priyanka Chopra interacted with media after being honored with one of the most respectful civilian award, Padmashri from President Pranab Mukherji in New Delhi. Many stars in the industry owe their success to their team but the Quantico actress believes that the credit for her work goes to her only and nobody else.
She feels that she is destiny’s favorite child. “I have always made sure that I will give heart and soul to every opportunity that comes my way as there is no one between the camera, actions and
cuts but me,” she said while adding that people take credit when a woman put hard in work.
“People take credit away from a working girl saying that she is made successful by others. But my question is why someone else hasn’t made it here yet?” Yes, Priyanka has a point. When asked about the tweet of her former manager Prakash Jaju, PeeCee said, “My father used to say that when elephants walk, the dog barks. Let him bark.”
Talking about Baywatch, her next international biggie, Priyanka clarified doubts of all those who want to see her red in swimsuit which was Pamela Anderson’s iconic look. The actress clearly refused and said “I am not a lifeguard, I am an interruption in their slow motion”.
PeeCee is playing the villain of Baywatch which was originally written as a male character.
