Seems like Hollywood has realized the love of Indian audience for movies (and huge revenue possibilities), as the Jungle Book, set on the backdrop of Indian jungles is to be premiered here. Yes, Jungle book is slated to release a week before its USA and UK release.
Directed by John Favreau (Iron Man), penned by Rudyard Kipling and Walt Disney’s animated action fiction of 1967, The Jungle Book is a story of a boy Mowgli (Neel Sethi), a man-cub who is brought up in jungle by animals. Most of us find this tale as a most adored part of our growing years.
This most awaited saga is extremely exciting as an Indian origin kid, 10 year old Neel is playing the central character of Mowgli. The film is voiced by some major names like Bill Murray for baloo the bear, Edris Elba for Sher khan the tiger and Ben Kingsley for Bagheera the black panther.
Previously, Hollywood has already tried and tested to premier action films in India and they created magical box office history. Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol are some such films.
In the meantime, some rumors are there that SRK fans forced the jungle book to change its release date as SRK’s fan is slated to release in April 18. Well, catch the jungle book trailer here:
