Matte lipsticks and cream mattes are super in vogue and we love them too. Kylie Jenner with her super expensive Kylie lipkits has created a huge following for matte lipsticks and matching lip liners. As much as we want and lust for Kylie lip kits, we understanding buying them before the gorgeous colours sell out is a near impossible task. So we make do with some of the best available in India brands and believe me they are less than a quarter of the price and pack a solid ‘matte’ punch! Matte Me: The Matte Me lipsticks are a steal and probably that’s why they are always out of stock. Matte Me are available only at selected places, I couldn’t find one until Ravneet got me a few of them. And it was lipstick love at first swipe, pigmented, matte and long staying power all in under 300 INR!
Diana of London: Diana of London is slowly re-branding itself and their matte lip colours we tried are awesome. They stay well and are immensely pigmented. Plus they don’t dry up my lips throughout the day. See our review here.
Sephora: Sephora lip creams stay on for hours and hours without budging, that too a shade like intense red. Check out our review here.
Faces Matte crayon: This one was a revelation, I expected an average lasting lipstick but the formula and staying power is spot on. Worth a buy plus the shades are gorgeous and a must, must have.
