Nivea is a popular brand and a few days pack I bought Nivea Aqua Effect Purifying Face Wash. It’s an old product but since I haven’t used it before so I bought seeing its cute packing and micro granules in it. I really like facewashes with granules. I have been using it for a while now and here is my review about the product.
Claims: As mentioned on the pack, Nivea Aqua effect Purifying Wash Gel enriched with Ocean Algae and Hydra IQ:
- Deeply cleanses pores with purifying peeling scrubs to reduce and prevent impurities.
- Reduces excess sebum to prevent oily shine with its purifying formula while respecting the skin’s own moisture balance.
- Vitalizes the skin with Ocean Algae.
- Reduce oiliness, see and feel pure skin.
- The skin is deeply cleansed and mattified, looking healthy and beautiful.
How To Apply: Apply gently to wet face, neck and decollete by massaging in small upward circles, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
Packaging: Nivea Aqua Effect Purifying Face Wash comes in a sea green, translucent, inverted tube with a flip flop cap. The face wash is sea green in colour with blue micro beads in it.
Price: It is priced at INR 99 for 75 ml
Pros: I like this face wash because
It’s easily available and affordable.
It doesn’t dry out the skin much.
It can be used on mixed to oily skin.
Removes oil , dirt and light makeup from the face.
The fragrance is pleasing.
The granules are not harsh on the skin.
Cons: The problem with this face wash is that it doesn’t make the skin glow after wash and doesn’t even help out in acne reduction.
It doesn’t lather much and large amount is used
Rating: I would give it 4/ 5 and would buy it again.
