When the NYX on NYKAA launch happened I was excited much like most other women who wanted their NYX fix. Now NYX came to India with Sephora but is always low on stock and there never has been any new collection launch. Procuring them from Instagram or facebook merchants seems like a dicey deal to me because the product is expensive and you cannot judge the authenticity of the same. I picked the NYX Contour stick in Medium understanding that since most of the shades are according to international skin colours and a medium shall work on a NC 35 me.

Why you need the Contour stick: We all have a little bit of face fat we wish to hide out. Now contouring makes the skin a bit darker giving it a hollow look, much like a shadow. So if you contour beneath your chin, on your double chin rather it can be merged into the shadows. But neatness, blending is the key to contouring perfectly.

Pros of using The NYX Contour Stick:
Works well at contouring my cheekbones and jawline.
The shade is a bit milky in terms of swatching and thankfully this makes blending them super easy.
However it is not for an intense contouring. What you get is a soft contouring.
Easy to carry.
Buildable, you can go upto three coats but nothing beyond.
Works well on sensitive skin. It never broke me out!
Gives the face a cleaner, neater and structured look.
The stay power is also okay-ish.
The highlighter actually helps you glow. But it doesn’t have shimmer to work as a main highlighter.
