Paul Penders calming and soothing mist review
Paul Penders recently made its Indian foray and we got a special makeup session with ace celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni. Paul Penders is probably one of the few makeup and skincare ranges that are vegan and environmentally friendly products.
The launch event saw Namrata recreating classic looks like a glam look for a day out and a daily look for office. While the makeup looked fabulous but then that was Namrata creating magic! We got to try the Paul Penders calming and soothing mist and though I was skeptical initially and the strong citronella fragrance was a deterrent but a week into using this mist and I’m glad I tried it.
Claims: Contains roman chamomile extract that provides a soothing and calming effect for all skin types. It helps to protect sensitive skin in harsh environments.
How to use: Spray mist onto areas where needed, leave it to dry.
Packaging: Packaged in a beautiful green cardboard box, the plastic bottle has a nozzle spray with a cap. The bottle is sturdy for travelling.
Pros: What hits you is the intensity of the fragrance when you use it first. All you need is two sprays to cover the face. It works like a toner. I have not tried to use it above makeup, the way I usually use most mists.
It tingles on the skin.
Makes the skin tighter and the pores decrease.
The bottle is safe to carry in your bag and doesn’t spill.
It is great for humid season as it controls oil secretions too.
Cons:
The fragrance is heavy.
The products are available in select places.
