Few months back a friend of mine got me few shades of Sivanna Colors lipsticks from Bangkok. But unfortunately I lost the gift bag and since then I have been looking out for those shades.
Yesterday when I went to a nearby cosmetic store to buy some hair accessories, I saw the box of Sivanna lipsticks. I got really excited and asked the sales girl to show them, the shop keeper knows me well so he instantly said “mam this is Thailand brand and the lipsticks are very reasonable and good” (though I was already aware but still acted ignorant). I checked out all shades but bought just one, a red shade (reason being I was short on cash, happens to everyone on month end I believe!).
Claims: No claims about the product are mentioned.
Packaging: It comes in a black plastic pencil with a transparent cap and shade colour cap at the bottom which acts as a rotator too.
Price: It is priced at INR 290 for 2.5 grams.I’m sure buying them in Thailand will be cheaper.
Pros: I am using this regularly and love my Sivanna Colours lippy because:
· It contains moisture so it does not dry out my lips.
· The texture is creamy and glossy.
· It is very reasonably priced.
· Stays for two to three hours easily.
· The fragrance is very nice and I smell it often.
· It looks like crayon pencil but it’s actually revolving.
· Though it’s not matte but still the shade comes out very well even in one swipe.
· It rotates both sides so you can always put the extra back.
· It is very easy to apply.
· The ingredients are written in English.
Cons: There are a few cons too:
- · Few details are written in Thai.
- · Only number and no shade name is mentioned.
- · Availability can be an issue.
- · It contains parabens.
- It bleeds badly and gets on the teeth.
- Rating: 2.5/5. I would definitely not buy it in other shades because it always gets transfer on my teeth.
