After a beach vacation my hands and body got tanned. So decided to pick up a skin lightening lotion to get rid of the tan quickly. While I was getting ready to go to the market I saw the advert of Vaseline Healthy White which claimed to visibly lighten tanned skin. I got persuaded and bought the same. Claims: It helps to keep you fair and even toned under the skin.
Packaging: This white creamy lotion comes in a pale pink plastic bottle with flip open cap.
Price: A 300 ml bottle would cost you INR 220. A smaller bottle is also available.
Pros:I like Vaseline Healthy White because:

- · It contains SPF 24 and vitamin B3.
- · It makes the skin soft and smooth.
- · It spreads easily and evenly.
- · It is not very oily and greasy.
- · It’s easily available and economical.
- · It gets absorbed easily in the skin.
- · One bottle lasts for a couple of months.
- · The complete ingredient list in mentioned.
Cons: The flaws are
- · It doesn’t fulfill its skin lightening claims but might work in the long run.
- It is not good for winters can be used only in summers as it’s not very oily.
- · It doesn’t give sun protection to the skin for prolonged exposure.
- · It contains parabens ad lot of other chemicals.
Rating: It would give it 3.75 /5 and would buy it in summers only.
