When it comes to buying gifts for girls what’s better then gifting makeup. Last month it was my friend’s birthday so I gifted her a makeup hamper including Maybelline Lip Gradation. While I was trying the shades of this newly launched lipstick I really liked the Red 01 and Red 02 so I bought one for her and Red 02 for myself.
I literally forgot about this lipstick but when my friend mentioned it I realised that I haven’t used mine yet. So finally last night I found this lippie lying in my lipstick pouch and I had a party to attend so I wore it.

Texture and pigmentation: It has a very creamy texture and well pigmented .
Packaging: The Maybelline Lip Gradation comes in like a long dual pen with the lip colour at one end and the smudger at the other. Both the ends are secured with a pull-up cap.The smudger has a transparent cap while the colour has a black cap.
Pros: I liked Maybelline Lip Gradation because
The texture is very creamy so it glides on easily.
It gives a perfect matte finish.
The shade is very pretty and will suit with Indian skin colour. It brightens up the face instantly.
Its staying power is incredible if applied directly. It can easily suffice a three course meal along with drinks.
Its highly pigmented so a single swipe is enough.
Since it comes with smudger so you can easily lighten up the shade too.
It doesn’t dry up the lips.
Its easy to carry and easily available too.
It doesn’t bleed unlike other creamy lipsticks.
Cons: This lipcolour has few cons too
It breaks easily because of it creamy texture so you have to handle it carefully.
The smudger gets dirty after single use only.
The smudged look doesn’t come out that well, it looks faded.
It does transfers.
The quantity is very less.
Rating: 3.75/5.I didn’t like the other shades much so will buy only if they add some interesting shades to the collection.
