Avon True Color collection eyeshadow quad, lipstick and nail colour
Aditi Rao Hydari launched the latest summer makeup from Avon on a special facebook live session a few weeks back! The collection is completely full of summer colours from light pinks to beige and deep nail colours that look perfect in summers. In fact she could not stop raving about how pretty the lipstick was. Avon sent us a few samples to try out the new collection and the lipstick is love!
Avon True Color Eyeshadow quad in Emerald cut
Emerald cut is probably the most summery eyeshadow ever! It costs 799 INR and it completely worth spending on for this summer. I created a very subtle and dark look with this. The quad is small enough to carry it in your bag. The colours might not show up if you are a NC 40 and avove as they are sheer and take a few layers to show on my pigmented eyelids.
Avon True Color lipstick in Sunny Pink
The True Color lipstick comes in a myriad shades from rich browns to light peaches for the summer special Avon has launched 6 new colours and Sunny Pink is apparently a favourite with the brand ambassador Aditi Roy Hydari. At 350 INR a pop these are really cheap and the brand claims these are bold, vivid color infused with vitamin E, Shea Butter and Omega 3. The colors last long and are the perfect budget buys!
Avon True Color nail colours in Royal Red and Lagoon
I have always been an Avon nail colour fan and they are thin to apply evenly and dry quickly. These cost only a 120 INR and worth every cent. Much like their claim, they are true, nail color lasts for 12 days,contains acrylic gel for 80% stronger nails, chip resistant, contains gelatin for flexibility. My pedicure lasted more than 12 days, the manicure lasts a week before chipping, but I did use a top coat to wear them.
Overall this collection is a big hit and is worth the moolah, I would recommend picking the lipsticks and will try buying a few more shades soon!
